Outfitted with practical skills on; strategic planning, program design and development, policy research, analysis, advocacy and campaigns, analytical problem solving, programming rights based approach to development, fund raising, community mobilization, management and coordination emergencies and relief, networking and partnership building.

Yonas Woldesemayat is well known for his passion for humanitarian activities and participated in various social voluntary activities and commitments as board level. He has served SHRME as Vice  president and currently as President, Founding member / President for Ethiopian Road Safety Association, and Board member for Commercial Graduate Association (CGA). He organized different social activities for communities In Lafto, and He is environmentalist and preserved the Lafto Hill.

Yonas has a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Graduate School of Addis Ababa University, Advanced Diploma from Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and   SHRM member  different Short-term trainings on Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Information Technology Management, Supply Chain Management, and Project Management. He was a par time Addis Ababa University Lecturer for Humanitarian Supply Chain Management and prepared Teaching Module for Supply Chain Management and different research papers unpublished.

Mr. Yonas is married with 3 sons and 1 daughter
